Infrared Repair
Hot patching is an innovative, proven method for repairing numerous cracks in asphalt, the area around drains, pavement subsidence, bumps, and potholes.
In this method, the asphalt to be repaired is heated for several minutes. Since asphalt is a hot-applied product, it can be heated without causing damage. Next, the asphalt is simply raked to retexturize it. New asphalt is added as needed, as well as an additive that helps restore pavement strength. Hot patching makes it possible to repair asphalt without creating visible joints.
