Adhesive application

C’Scellé offers an adhesive application service for asphalt joints. Adhesive for asphalt joints helps reduce and/or eliminate longitudinal cracks caused by low-density cold joints between two pavement layers.

The adhesive seals the joint and creates a bond between the two layers. Municipalities and Quebec’s Ministère des Transports require use of this adhesive when the second pavement layer is applied on a cold joint. A heat-applied joint adhesive fills air voids and improves adhesion. We use 34524 joint adhesive from Crafco, a product recognized and approved by Ministère des Transports.
